NMRA IN BG

Did anyone make it out to NMRA in BG? If so... look me up. We are parked just across from the KOTS car parking area. Should see a teal and black 93 cobra and maybe a white 96 cobra.

The pics shows the MAF on the "big" inlet tube to the turbo. He also stated it was draw through. It looks to be one of the big 77 or 80 MAFs that have the filter element attached to it.

Could the bypass valve be leaking air when the wastegate is at its "set" boost pressure?

If I recall... (from BE) EVRPM - Canister Purge Min RPM needs to be set to 9999 basically a RPM value that is higher than you will ever reach.

I think what your wanting to do is run in Open Loop.... which will allow you to run without the O2 feedback.

you need to get the correct transfer curve for the AEM and make sure the datalogging is set to use that curve and not the default EVP curve loaded. I would think that this is something that has already been made. I don't have it but sure someone does.

I know Clint is in the know but wanted to publicly announce that my new baby girl was born on Monday. She was 8 lbs 11 oz and 20 inches long. Just as my car was back on the ground and ready to be driven and the new BE software from Clint my time is going to be alittle tight for a few months... but I...

go on and get some 60's... A buddy of mine tried to go with some 83s using a PMS. The guy at PMAS (pro Mass air systems) stated that it would take several times to get the meter cal'd properly. However, suggested to go with some 60's cal'd his meter once and had it on perfectly. I was amazed with ho...

I would not think that your tuning style should be any different... just need to either add alittle more fuel, less timing on the top end due to the increase boost. Other than that... the other stuff should be close to what it is now.

Yes... You will need a GM map sensor. You can use the EGR signal wire, only if your not running the EGR. If you are... then you will need to get a dataq unit and use it to feed the signal to the calcon. You will need to go into the settings tab and setup the inputs... should be along the left side o...

if the tube is being left off the intake and the port on the intake not plugged... you are allowing unmetered air to enter he intake which is giving you a much leaner condition than what the MAF is telling the EEC to expect. Which is why the O2s are telling it that it is reading lean and trying to c...

What kind of pressure are you trying to get out of it? I would suspect a bad pump if it is dropping when at WOT. Have you tried to dead head the pump and see how much pressure you get out?

I would say the pump is going south... is it the high pressure version of the 255 pump? (GSS342) I have had better luck using a high pressure intank by itself. If you run a 255 intank and then restrict it with the 190, you will not get sufficient results that you would want... IMO.

just buy an adapter harness.

http://www.blueovalchips.com/mafadapter.php

Do a search for the wiring for both 4 pin and 6 pin in google and you should be good to go. You will only use the 4 inner wires. YOu will have a Bat +, ground, signal +, and signal return (minus)
